I came to study here because Birmingham has one of the world’s largest jewellery schools.
I really enjoyed using all the industry-standard machinery in the BCUIC workshops, and the independent study gave us the creative freedom to express our own ideas. The tutors were nice and it was easy to mix with everyone and make friends.
I had no art and design knowledge at all before I came to BCUIC, but after completing my Foundation programme I felt prepared for my degree.
After I graduate I’d like to do a Master’s degree, obtain the professional silversmithing qualifications and then open up my own jewellery studio.
