I met a BCUIC Rep in Zimbabwe, and Birmingham sounded so vibrant and multicultural. I found out all about the small classes and lots of interaction, and it sounded perfect.

I was in the very first cohort at BCUIC, when it opened in 2013. I’m still good friends with people I met in my first semester – we’re like a BCUIC family!

Studying Law at Birmingham City University included mooting, debating, public speaking, using the simulated law courts… We learnt through real-life scenarios and proper industry experience – I spent time at a solicitors’ firm and completed a placement with Citizens Advice in my final year, and loved it!

I’m currently completing my Master’s degree, and hope to secure a training contract with a law firm.
