How to apply to study at BCUIC
Step 1: Complete BCUIC application form
and send it with supporting documents (including copies of your passport, academic qualifications and English test results) to BCUIC or your BCUIC representative. If your documentation shows a gap in your studies of more than nine months, you will also need to tell us what you did during that time (e.g. working or travelling).
Step 2: Receive offer of admission
from BCUIC via email within 24 hours.
Step 3: Accept the offer
by paying the course fee deposit indicated on your offer of admission and returning a completed Acceptance form to BCUIC (You can make payments via bank transfer, international bank draft, debit card or online)Pay your fees online
Step 4: Confirmation of Acceptance (CAS)
BCUIC will provide you with the CAS that is required for your visa application once your place is fully confirmed
Step 5: Arrange student accommodation in Birmingham
BCUIC can help organise suitable student accommodation. Demand is often high for the most popular accommodation - you should arrange accommodation as soon as possible.
Step 6: Apply for your visa
Full details on the visa application process can be found at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/
Step 7: Arrive in the UK
BCUIC, upon request, can help arrange transport from the airport, and ensure your accommodation is prepared for your arrival into the UK. You should notify BCUIC of your arrival details, and any accommodation requests, so that arrangements can be made, contact email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Step 8: Commence the first stage of your studies on your chosen pathway at Birmingham City University
The UK Government recently announced that many students will be interviewed as part of the student visa application process to provide further assurance that applicants granted a visa, do intend to study in the UK.
