Enrolment Check-list

There are a number of documents you will need to bring with you to enrolment, and they vary depending on the type of course you are joining us for.

If you’re joining us just for an academic programme:
  • Your current passport
  • Your BRP (Biometric Residency Permit))
You will need to collect this from the location detailed in your UKVI decision letter
  • Tenancy agreement / proof of residency
You can provide proof with a copy of your legal accommodation contract (Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement), with your name on it. This must be a formal tenancy contract signed by you and your letting agent or landlord; handwritten letters are not acceptable. It should show the dates of the tenancy agreement at the property.
  • Alternatively, if you are staying with a relative (and therefore have no contract), we will accept a signed letter from the landlord or relative, in addition to proof of address (e.g. utility bill - this can be a gas, water, electric, phone or council tax bill).
If you’re joining us for an academic programme from a Pre-Sessional English course:
  • Your current passport*
  • Your BRP (Biometric Residency Permit)*
You will need to collect this from the location detailed in your UKVI decision letter
  • Batch receipt confirming new visa application - if you don't have the above documents
Please bring your batch receipt if you do not have your passport or BRP. (It will have been issued by the University's Student Services when you submitted your visa application.)
