I chose to study at BCUIC and Birmingham City University because I wanted to study somewhere multicultural, and I’d always heard good things about the Midlands.

What I enjoyed about studying at BCUIC was meeting new people from lots of other countries. The tutors were nice too, and the classes prepared me well for my degree – especially the Business module.

What did I like about the University? Everything! The lecturers were helpful, responsive and attentive. They’re still helping me now, after graduation, with references for job applications.

I got to use really cool facilities during my time at the University, like the industry-standard TV studios and editing suites. I created a documentary in my first year! Thanks to this experience, I feel ready for employment.

Since graduating I’ve been working freelance, doing film projects and completing national service in Nigeria. I may even come back to BCU to do a Master’s!
